I am a marine ecologist interested in prediction of hierarchical patterns and processes operating at different levels of resolution or organization. Particularly, I am interested in the underlying laws that allows to scaling up and scaling down patterns and processes from a specific level of resolution. Consequences gained from this understanding are crucial to make realistic plan of conservation and management of ecosystems.
