Steffi is studying biology at the University of Bremen and will finish her bachelor's degree in 2012. Afterwards she wants to continue with a master's programme in marine biology. Currently she is doing an internship at the BEDIM to gain some insight into ecological research and to get an idea of how fieldwork is conducted. At the BEDIM she takes part in different projects concerning the floating ability and physiology of macroalgae.
