POST-MEETING COURSE

After the meeting a short course on the Biology of Caridea will be offered (instructor: Dr. Ray Bauer, University of Louisiana, Lafayette, USA) from 18 - 21 October.

The course will cover general taxonomy, biology, behavior and ecology. Field trips to collect shrimp will be conducted.

The course takes place on the campus of Universidad Catolica del Norte in Coquimbo, Chile. The course fee (US$180) includes course materials, field trips and on-campus housing during the course.
